Short-term rental in Delhi

Delhi is a capital-city market: demand comes from government and corporate visits, embassies and conferences, hospital appointments, weddings and transit travellers on their way to Agra, Jaipur or the hills. South Delhi neighbourhoods, areas near the airport and well-connected colonies close to metro lines draw the most interest, and guests often stay longer than a weekend because they are in town for a purpose rather than for leisure.

Who books and when

Winter is the busiest stretch, with the wedding season and a heavy events calendar. The peak of summer and the monsoon are slower for leisure, though work travel continues. Guests tend to be domestic professionals, families attending ceremonies, NRIs visiting relatives and foreign business travellers who prefer a residential setting to a hotel. Independent floors and larger apartments with parking and reliable power backup suit them best.

Rules to know

Delhi is in transition. On 11 August 2026 the Delhi Assembly passed a bill repealing the Bed & Breakfast law introduced in 2007, and the government has announced a new policy to replace it; a draft circulated earlier in 2026 but, at the time of writing, the final rules have not been published. Under the old scheme the host had to live in the property and could offer one to six rooms.

We say this plainly because it shapes what we can do for you in Delhi. Until the new policy is notified, we do not take on the management of empty flats in Delhi and we will not suggest a workaround.
